Any one fan of prawn noodles? - Da Shi Jia Big Prawn Mee (Somerset)

nadana

I am a fan of prawn mee... so wanted to share Da Shi Jia Big Prawn Mee, very accessible from Orchard.

89 Killiney Rd, Singapore 239534

Da Shi Jia Big Prawn Mee  Da Shi Jia Big Prawn Mee Killiney

1. choose the prawn size (from $7.3 to $22.4)

2. choose noodle type (bee hoon, yellow noodle, kway teow etc)

3. add on (pork ribs, fish cake etc)

It has flavourful umami taste. But I think it's on expensive side.

The second photo is Wok-fried big prawn white bee Hoon ($19.2 - $22.4), which is also good..! so I always order this too.

Some say the quality got worse than before but the days I went it was still delicious... Please recommend if you have your favourite praw mee place. Thanks!

Yes! I tried this place too, and it is nice, but pricey.. I personally like Zion Road Big prawn noodle the most. Super thick broth, reasonable price ($8 - $12)

By the way I like your photo!

@coffeemorning Hello! yes I heard that place is really nice! Last time I couldn't try because it was cash only. I will try next time, thanks!

You can also try Don Don Prawn Noodles, at circuit road hawker centre. I prefer the dry one but soup one is good too. Their pork ribs are great.

If you are looking for like indoor restaurants, you can try East Treasure Speciality Prawn Noodle at Joo Chiat Rd, but I highly recommend prawn noodle at hawker stalls too
