Holy Crab for Chilli Crab at The Capitol, City Hall
My friend came from overseas and she wanted to try Chilli crab in Singapore. Because she was staying near City Hall, I got to try this place.
Holy Crab address: Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore
13 Stamford Road, #01-85, Singapore 178905
Singapore Chilli Crab: ($108/kg) - the sauce was slightly different from standard ones, the sauce had more South East Asian spice taste which I liked! Some Chilli Crab places make theirs too sweet (just sweet) but this one was good. Good crab meat too, more than enough for two person.
We also had Signature HolyCrab Fried Rice ($18 / $32) - superb with wok kind of taste, a lot of crab meat inside.
I heard if you order big crab (eg. 1.5KG), you can choose two sauces at the same time, and they will cook half and half.
Service was just so-so. It is inside the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore so the space is good. If I am in CBD or near City Hall AND have cravings for Chilli crab, I will consider coming back. But... there are other good chilli crab places in Singapore, you know.
