Kids Summer / Holiday Camp Recommendation List in SG

Some of my friends living overseas visit Singapore for few weeks while their kids go to summer / holiday camps. Wanted to share some info that I got and experienced:

Camp Asia

  • Good programmes (sports activities, arts, drama, coding, cooking etc) and decent number of staffs, which is good
  • At Stamford American International School (SAIS) with good facility OR held at Australian International School, depending on period, but SAIS recommended
  • Provides morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks. Heard the quality is quite good!
  • Provides shuttle (my friends stayed at hotels at Orchard and it was very convenient for them, and River valley area works I heard). Highly recommend to check if the school bus comes to your place before singing up…
  • Used to be from 8am to 3pm but not sure if this is outdated.
  • Price: SGD 600 - 850 depending on the days (4 / 5 days) and programme that you sign up.
  • Availability and details here: https://www.campasia.asia/campasia-availability

CIS Holiday Camp - Canadian International School camp

  • Select the programme by age and by week
  • Programmes include art, musical, language, sports, coding etc
  • 9am - 3pm, five days a week (some are 4 days)
  • Two location options: Tanjong Katong and Lakeside. Lakeside campus is bigger than one in Tanjong Katong, so there are more programmes available.
  • Price ranges from SGD 560 - 700 per period per programme
  • Includes morning snack and lunch
  • Availability here: http://online.cis.edu.sg/Holiday-Program-Camps/
  • When you sign up for early bird they used to provide 10% discount, but no refund I recall.

Newton show

  • Located at Newton / Novena (one at Goldhill shopping mall and another one at Goldhill plaza) and I think they expanded to few more. Smaller scale then above.
  • Multi camp programme has different topics like cooking, art, robotics, science each day.
  • Summer camp programme has multiple options like: space explorer, unbelievable science, Harry Potter science, lab etc. So very science focused. They bring some science products they make.
  • I heard birthday party programme is quite popular too
  • Price: 685 SGD
  • 9am - 4pm, Mon - Fri per week
  • Door to door transportation when you register
  • Provides lunch and two snacks.

Mindful Camp

  • Located near Newton
  • Science & Art with Body Awareness Age (different date range for different age group, from May to June). Priced at SGD 680 per child. SGD 620 for early bird. Lunch provided. Three days camp from 9am-5pm.
  • Mindful Robotics: 6 hrs workshop and 1 hours lunch (bring own lunch). Priced at SGD 290 per child
  • These are really mindfully healthy activities… They used to have two days programme for flying yoga which I heard was very good.

This is SUPER helpful! Just to add, there are Lorna Whiston, British Council, I can read - but more focusing on English... would be good for kids from overseas. Smaller scale than one like Camp Asia.
