Is it easy to get Grab Family in SG? Is it much more expensive?

HI mums, I am moving to Singapore next week and our baby is 11 months old. I heard that babies must be on car seat in Singapore, so we need to use Grab Family. Is that relatively easy to get and is it much more expensive than the normal grab?

You can also call standard taxi from Grab for baby rides. It’s cheaper than Grab Family.

Download and use Zig app. It’s the local taxi app and much easier to get compared to Grab Family. You don’t need car seat for standard taxis.

Many times Grab Family is not easy to get…. And yes up to 1.5X more expensive I think… I recommend standard taxi as well..

Just FYI the car seats from Grab Family is not the standard car seat. It’s a booster seat, much simpler version.
