Children's Museum Singapore (CMSG) - newly opened in Fort Canning!
Hello mums in Singapore! I came across this newly opened Children's Museum Singapore, for children 12 years and below, so wanted to share some details.
Address: 23-B Coleman St, Singapore 179807 (phone: 63373888)
Opening hours:
- Tuesday – Sunday (closed on Monday), 9am - 5:45pm (closed for cleaning: 12:45pm - 2:00pm)
- 4 entry time slots available for booking: 9am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm entry
- You need to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your entry time slot. E-tickets get invalid if you are late more than 10 mins.
Admission Fee:
- Free admission for all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (need to present NRIC)
- Tourists & Foreign residents: $15 per adult, $10 per child. $40 for family package (2 adults, 2 children)
Few things to note:
- No food allowed to bring inside
- There is storage for belongings and strollers
- You can get 4 tickets max
- If you don’t have ticket, you can walk in (for limited amounts everyday)
- Ticket includes both standard and special exhibitions
- You need to get tickets at least 30 min prior to the entry

1. A Voyage Back in Time (Permanent Exhibition) - exploring olden Singapore!
I think it is also a good learning for both local and non local children. There is a small theatre where kids, and a lot of small interactive spots for kids (making own stamp, opening stuffs etc)
2. Imagine A Garden (Special Exhibition) - finding about different types of birds and flowers!
3. Play Pod (Special Exhibition) - safe and fun play spot for 2-4 years old
Kids will mingle here, it gets fun!
4. Happy Birthday! (Special Exhibition) - learning about different communities in Singapore
You can do dressing up activity, writing "happy birthday" in different languges, huge toy kitchen (popular!)
The exhibits are designed for children 5 and older but children from 2 to 4 can visit Play Pod!
There are quite a lot of activiites along the way and sometimes they hold special activities and competitions! Really worth to visit and highly recommended!
